Welcome to my portfolio! I am a writer and educator from central Minnesota with a passion for creating connections and telling meaningful stories. In my portfolio, you will see different styles of writing I have done, from poetry and creative, to academic and professional. These pieces represent the best I have to offer, and each contains a piece of myself within it.

I am educated in English literature with a BA in English from St. John’s University and an MA in English studies from St. Cloud State University. I am a licensed educator with five years of experience teaching, writing curriculum, and improving the literacy scores of my students. I care deeply about critical literacy and work every day to help students learn to think and ask questions.
